Luis “Phatkat” Vega and Paul “Pistachio” Vega, known as The Vega Brothers, are blood brothers from the Lower East Side with a musical legacy spanning over 30 years. Their production credits reflect deep roots in hip-hop and crossover success, having worked with artists such as Queen Latifah, Naughty By Nature, Nice & Smooth, Junior Reid, Masta Ace, Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, New Kids on the Block (NKOTB), N’Dea Davenport, and many others.
Continuing to build on that legacy, The Vega Brothers are now developing Puerto Rican–born artist Negro Stacks, representing the Bronx. His debut single, “Hierba Verde,” released last year, made a strong impact, reaching #1 on the Spotify Latin International Chart. His latest release, “Soy Latino,” is a high-energy, pro-Latin record positioned to become a standout anthem. Looking ahead, Negro Stacks is preparing for the release of his debut album, El Chivo, alongside an animated series of the same name, expanding the project beyond music into a full creative universe.
